World’s Cheapest Electric Car Price & Availability

The ElectricKar K5 is priced at $2,100 (around INR 1.53 lakh) in China. The price is about equivalent to the newly launched Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 (review) which currently selling at INR 1.50 lakh onwards in India. The electric vehicle is retailing on the eCommerce giant Alibaba. Also, anyone buying more than 9 units will get the K5 down to $1,800.

The company has equipped an 800W power motor in the quadricycle that is said to help the car to achieve a maximum speed of 40km/h. The K5 is packed with a 2.7kWh battery. It has the capacity to accommodate two people. The dimension of the car is 2.2m long, 1.09m wide, and 1.62m in height. It weighs around 255kg. The model has a top speed of 115km/h with a range of 181km. The base model Ola S1 is priced at INR 99,999 and the S1 Pro will cost INR 1,29,999. The Ola electric scooter is set to go on sale on September 8.
