Realme has phones that offer a max 150W fast charging tech as we saw with GT Neo 3. As the Realme GT Neo 5 is incoming, leakster Ice Universe has shared information according to which, the phone will be powered by a 240W charging brick. For context, this is 90W faster than 150W on the Neo 3 (almost 40 percent incremental over the last gen). Here are more details about the duo.
Realme’s 240W charged tipped
Realme’s first-ever 240W charger carries model number VCKCJACH as seen in the image below. It is 40% faster than the 150W fast charging that we have seen with the previous GT Neo 3. The 240W tech uses 65W PD among other protocols to juice up the battery at ultrasonic speeds. Moving on, it is reported that Realme GT Neo 5 will be using the 240W tech. It is not known what and when the Realme GT Neo 5 will arrive though although we have a tonne of rumors around the same.
Realme GT Neo 5 Expected Specifications
As usual, GT Neo 5 will bring a few upgrades over GT Neo 3. It includes a dual-toned display at the back with a black-colored camera module and a white body as seen in the image above. The phone will get a 6.7” 144Hz display with an under-the-display fingerprint scanner onboard. It is likely an OLED panel with 1.5K resolution and 2160Hz PWM dimming. Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC sits under the hood clocked at 3.2GHz max frequency. There are separate schools of thought on whether the phone will get a 4,600mAh or a 5,000mAh battery although that remains to be seen.
