It is a direct successor to the Oppo Reno7 series. Following the latest batch of updates from tipster Mukul Sharma and Rootmygalaxy, there’s new progress regarding its color options, storage options, and the Indian pricing for the lineup.

Oppo Reno 8 Color and Storage Options

According to the tipster Mukul Sharma, the Oppo Reno8 will be available in two colorways – Shimmer Gold and Shimmer Black. There is no Blue colorways as Oppo is likely to skip it. You will get three storage options i.e. 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, and 12GB+256GB.

Oppo Reno8, 8 Pro Pricing, and Availability in India

The Oppo Reno8 will go on sale in India on July 24th starting at INR 29,990/- for its entry-level 8GB/128GB variant. There’s an 8GB/256GB variant carrying a price tag of INR 31,990/- while the topnotch model with 12GB/256GB is available at INR 33,990/-. The Oppo Reno8 Pro is all-set to launch between INR 42,990/- and INR 46,000/- available via Flipkart although it includes multiple storage variants. Additionally, there’s an INR 3,000/- discount via bank offers among others that lowers the effective pricing exponentially.

Oppo Reno 8 Specifications

Oppo Reno8 sports a majestic 6.43” FHD+ AMOLED 90Hz panel with a punch-hole cut-out housing a 32MP selfie shooter. There’s Dimensity 1300 SoC under the hood paired alongside up to 256GB of storage and 12GB of RAM options. There’s ColorOS 12.1 based on Android 12 for software.

Proceeding further, we have a triple rear camera setup housing a 50MP primary sensor and two 2MP auxiliary shooters. The Oppo Reno8 flaunts a 4500mAh battery pack paired alongside 80W fast charging tech. The device supports 5G, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS, an in-display FPS, and a USB Type-C port among others.

When talking about the Pro variant, the battery pack, storage options, software tech, and the front camera setup remains the same. The device sports a 6.7” FHD+ AMOLED 120Hz display which is way better than a 90Hz panel. There’s a Dimensity 8100 Max SoC under the hood.

Oppo has replaced one of the auxiliary sensors with an 8MP ultrawide shooter while keeping the other two sensors (50MP+2MP) the same.
