LG Electronics has a wide impact on Indian consumer behavior and the South Korean brand is gearing to take a lead in the premium OLED section with a rich range of products. The 2022 OLED TV lineup includes models from 42-inch to 97-inch aiming to apprehend a major market share. The pricing of the new 2022 OLED TV series starts at Rs 89,990 to a whopping price of Rs 75 lakhs for the rollable TV. The launched 2022 OLED lineup includes – LG Signature OLED 8K Z2, LG OLED Evo Gallery Edition G2, LED OLED Evo C2, LG OLED B2, LG OLED A2, and Signature OLED R TV (rollable). The OLED TV market in India is currently in a nascent phase with different OEMs gradually bringing their products. LG, on the other side, has ignited the domain by announcing 19 different OLED TVs altogether. The new 2022 LG OLED TV will start retailing soon in the coming days in India. 2022 LG OLED TV lineup details
All the new LG TV models are claimed to be equipped with in-house OLED technology for precise pixel-level control. The 2022 OLED TV lineup will provide realistic color, an infinite contrast ratio, and the deepest black accent. For smart features, LG has provided all the modern traits for a customized experience. The company has also presented LG OLED Evo TVs in its C2 lineup to offer outstanding detailing, clarity, and life-like pictures. The series is equipped with the Alpha 9 Gen 5 AI picture processor through the AI Sound Pro standard allowing the OLED TV to up-mix 2-channel audio to a virtual 7.1.2 sound. LG Rollable OLED TV
Among the new portfolio, LG has also unveiled its rollable TV called Signature OLED R TV that will roll itself when not in use. The TV has a flexible display offering three modes – a ‘zero view’ showing just base, a ‘line view’ to show music controls, and weather info; and a ‘full view’ to fully unroll the TV. The company is calling the new LG rollable TV a ‘piece of art priced at Rs 75,00,000. However, LG Product Head Mr. Abhiral Bhansali has clarified that the rollable TV will not enter mass production for now saying, “The idea is not to mass market this TV [LG rollable TV] but there are consumers who like to take these kinds of experiences. We have sold a number of rollable OLED TVs in India.”
