This feature will be very useful for Indian users as WhatsApp is very popular in the country with over 450 million users. Android users will need a minimum of Android 5.0 and above and Apple users will need a minimum of iOS 15.5 and above.
Steps to transfer your Whatsapp from Android to iOS with data
First step: Firstly, Download the ‘Move to the iOS’ app from the Google play store on your android phone.
Second step: Next make sure your Android phone is fully charged, if not plug in the charger
Third step: Now Open the Move to iOS App and follow the instructions displayed on the screen.
Forth Step: Check the code on your iPhone and enter that code here.
Fifth Step: Tap on the continue option that appears on your Android phone screen.
Sixth Step: Tick WhatsApp option on the Transfer Data Screen and tap on the start option. WhatsApp data export process will start and once it’s done you will be WhatApp account will log out from your Android phone.
Seventh Step: Tap on next to return to the Move to iOS App screen. Further, tap on ‘Continue to transfer’ data from Android to iPhone device. The device will prompt you once the transfer process is complete.
