The FCC listing shows 4 models of the Google Pixel 6a and this makes its launch even more imminent. Latest reports speculate that it might launch in May 2022 during Google’s I/O event (Which kicks off on May 12) or around it. Google Pixel 6a FCC Listing
The FCC listing of Pixel 6a shows 4 models- GX7AS, GB17L, G1AZG, and GB62Z out of which only 1 can be seen with 5G mmW support and the other 3 have sub 5G bands. The GB62Z is the one that can be seen with 5G mmW support while GB62Z and GBX7AS both are listed as parent models.
Google Pixel 6a Expected specs
Leaked renders show that the Google Pixel 6a will have a look similar to Google Pixel 6 with a visor on the back including multiple cameras. It is expected to sport a 6.2-inch OLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate and an in-display fingerprint scanner. Google Pixel 6a is said to be powered by a Google Tensor chipset with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The smartphone might pack a 4800mAh battery with 30W fast charging support. It will run Android 12 and have a facial recognition feature as well. In the camera department, the Google Pixel 6a is said to have a dual-camera setup at the back which will include a 12.2MP primary and a 12MP ultrawide lens. The front camera will be housed in a punch-hole cutout at the front.
